I offer supervision to trainee guiders on the trainee practitioner pathway and those working towards becoming an advanced practitioner through my business Independent Social Work Matters Ltd.

I have been an accredited supervisor since 2018 and provide supervision to trainee guiders from different professional backgrounds, including social work, health visiting, early help and perinatal services.

My background is child protection social work and I am interested in using VIG to improve the quality of family time for children in care.

All supervision sessions are online using Zoom of Teams. Trainees can book a a time to meet through my online calendar. Although my training commitments usually prevent me from being able to offer a fixed monthly meeting, I am flexible and realistic about the need to cancel supervision if families haven't turned up as expected.
